Data Access and Usage

  • Limited Access: Only one designated Aware Neighbors staff member has access to the data collected during the testing phase.
  • No Sharing or Selling: ALPR data is not shared or sold under any circumstances.
  • Police Access: ALPR data is not automatically shared with law enforcement. However, in the event of a crime occurring during the testing phase, Aware Neighbors may grant one-time access to law enforcement, strictly limited to an active investigation.
